First of all, it is important to mention that when an Expert Translator-Attorney translates any legal document he/she will be able to immediately identify any ambiguity, omission, or error of content due to his/her legal knowledge, thus, he/she will be in a position to notify it to the client, as an extra service bonus that will give you peace of mind about the job that is being done.

All of our Expert Translators–Attorneys are one hundred percent capable to ratify our translations before any governmental authority or Notary Public, specifically before Courts of Justice, District Attorney Office, and related agencies. Since the law establishes that the District Attorney can freely question the expert translator, therefore, in case of hiring an ordinary expert translator that is only a linguist he/she might fall into errors or contradictions, such person would not have any idea about the legal responsibilities the client might incur if he/she does not know how to correctly answer to the District Attorney’s questions placing the client’s freedom or even life in a compromising position that an Expert Translator-Attorney would know how to handle correctly. That is why before any legal ratification, it is important to check the judicial file or consult with our client’s attorney, so that once we have set the right legal course of action, attend before the judicial or administrative authority in order to ratify the translated document and answer the questions of the District Attorney always in the manner instructed by our client’s attorney in a way that will favor him/her. If necessary, we can even go to where our client is, in the event that he/she may be serving time in a penitentiary institution, because we have license to practice as Attorneys at law that allows us to cut through bureaucratic obstacles at the moment of the visit.
